If you are unable to connect to the shard or your deployment map is greyed out, please try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Restart your PC
2. Verify the game files >> Open Steam >> Right Click Foxhole >> Properties >> Local Files >> Verify Integrity of Game Files
3. Close any and all programs on your computer >> Open Steam >> Open Foxhole >> Attempt to get in game
4. Disable all antivirus and firewall solutions; Follow #3
5. Restart computer completely >> Close any programs that started automatically; Follow #1
2. Verify the game files >> Open Steam >> Right Click Foxhole >> Properties >> Local Files >> Verify Integrity of Game Files
3. Close any and all programs on your computer >> Open Steam >> Open Foxhole >> Attempt to get in game
4. Disable all antivirus and firewall solutions; Follow #3
5. Restart computer completely >> Close any programs that started automatically; Follow #1
6. Open command prompt and type ipconfig /flushdns
7. Restart internet modem and/or router; May be a good idea to perform #3 afterwards
8. Verify all ports used by Steam are open on modem/router firewall as well as any third party firewall hardware: Via Steam Support ; Follow #4
9. On Wi-Fi? Try using a physical (ethernet) connection instead
10. On Wi-Fi? Try moving physically closer to the modem/router providing the wireless internet
11. On Ethernet? Reseat the ethernet cable on both sides; perform #4 as well as #3
12. Verify all drivers are up to date. This includes graphics drivers; Perform #10
13. Verify Windows is up to date
14. On a laptop? Make sure the laptop's power/battery setting is set to High Performance.
15. Set Max Pings settings in the Steam client: Go to Steam >> Settings >> In Game. Go to the dropdown box labelled In-Game Server browser: Max pings/minute and set to 500. Follow #1
16. If failing all other options, try connecting to a VPN outside of your country. The third-party services Foxhole uses may be having issues connecting to you.
